How to use: Attaching a pen needle every day

You must use a fresh needle every day:

  1. Remove the peel foil from a new pen needle.
    Important:
Do not use the needle if the packaging is damaged or has been opened by someone other than yourself, a carer or family member.
  2. Screw the pen needle clockwise onto the cartridge holder. Make sure that the pen needle is attached correctly and sits firmly on the cartridge holder.
  3. Remove the outer needle cap and save it for later.
  4. Remove and dispose of the inner needle cap. While attaching the needle some drops of Movymia® (teriparatide) may have escaped, this is normal.
