How to use: Attaching a pen needle every day
You must use a fresh needle every day:
- Remove the peel foil from a new pen needle.
Important:
Do not use the needle if the packaging is damaged or has been opened by someone other than yourself, a carer or family member. - Screw the pen needle clockwise onto the cartridge holder. Make sure that the pen needle is attached correctly and sits firmly on the cartridge holder.
- Remove the outer needle cap and save it for later.
- Remove and dispose of the inner needle cap. While attaching the needle some drops of Movymia® (teriparatide) may have escaped, this is normal.
